Advertising Responsibility Notice
During the private beta
Live advertising spend through OORT is disabled for every workspace during the private beta. Every campaign "launch" executes against a deterministic mock provider — no real ad platform is called, no money is spent, and no live ad is created, regardless of the plan you are on or the channel you select.
If live campaign launch is ever enabled for your workspace
You, not OORT, are responsible for:
- Compliance with each ad platform's advertising policies (Meta, Google Ads, and any other connected provider).
- Compliance with applicable advertising law in your jurisdiction (truth-in-advertising, disclosure requirements, sector-specific rules).
- The accuracy of any claims made in ad copy OORT generates — generated copy is a draft, and you are responsible for reviewing and approving it before it reaches a live audience.
- Your own ad account's billing relationship with the platform — OORT does not process ad spend payments; that runs directly through your connected ad account.
What OORT does to reduce risk
- Two independent flags must both be explicitly enabled before any live launch is possible.
- Every campaign requires explicit, typed confirmation before launch.
- Generated audience targeting never references race, ethnicity, religion, health condition, sexual orientation, political affiliation, financial hardship, disability, a specific child's identity, or private location history, and is scanned to catch it if it ever appears anyway.
